The following three games were played on Saturday, Jan. 19.
Crush 26 – Volunteers 20
During the first game, Crush vs. Volunteers, the leading scorer of the Crush was Dalton Crutchfield with 10 points. Cameron Cates followed with 7 points, Zach Austin with 4 points, Seth Coleman with 3 points and Lauren Maness with 2 points. Wes Sliger and Jonathan Travis contributed on defense. The coach of Crush is Dean Austin. Alex Ross was the leading scorer for the Volunteers with 6 points. The other scorers for the Volunteers were Sumner Gilliam with 5 points, William Miles with 4 points, Andrew Malacapay with 3 points and Dontre’l Owens with 2 points. Andrei Malacapay, Blaine Burlison and Ryne Reynolds contributed on defense. The coach of the Volunteers is Blake Stigall.
Heat 33 – Green Machines 24
During the second game, Heat vs. Green Machines, Scout Edwards was the leading scorer for the Heat with 20 points. The other scorers for the Heat were Beau Kelly with 9 points, Matthew Castleman with 3 points and Nicholas Fortner with 1 point. Karina Romero and MaKenna Callins contributed on defense. The coach of the Heat is Scott Fortner. Parker Landry was the leading scorer for the Green Machines with 6 points. The other scorers for the Green Machines were Kyle Coleman and Paul Richards with 5 points each, and Cameron Taylor and Ryan Austin with 4 points each. Riley Callins, Amin Childress and Dontrique Farris contributed on defense. The coach of the Green Machines is Ryan Byrd.
Blue Knights 46 – Black Hawks 25
During the third game, Blue Knights vs. Black Hawks, Jalen Griggs was the leading scorer for the Blue Knights with 18 points. The other scorers for the Blue Knights were Jac’Que Barnett with 10 points, Ty Brown with 8 points, Jenus Hussey and Kyle Edwards with 4 points each and Kimberly Kuin with 2 points. Michael Kuin and Sophia Lane contributed on defense. The coach of the Blue Knights is Gary Byrd. The leading scorer on the Black Hawks was Tyquis Johnson with 12 points. Nathan Howard followed with 5 points and Dusty Fuqua and Max Johnson with 4 points each. Dakota Johnson, Anna Morey and Luis Sanchez were on defense. The coach of the Black Hawks is Mike Johnson.
