Winter wonderland

WINTER WONDERLAND — Lake Road School teachers (from left) Catherine Nailling, Allison Kail and Emily Cross were among the faculty members who recently enjoyed seeing the school’s teachers’ lounge transformed into a beautiful winter wonderland, courtesy of the school’s Parent-Teacher Organization, for the December TEAM lunch. The school’s PTO is doing a number of things to boost faculty and student morale this school year. The December lunch was hosted by TEAM 2011, the fifth-grade parents, who literally transformed the teachers’ lounge into the winter wonderland with a variety of seasonal wall coverings and other decorations. The next lunch will be held Jan. 29 and will be hosted by TEAM 2012, the fourth-grade parents, who will use the theme “Tailgating with Team 2012.”
