FAMILY HISTORY — Reelfoot Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution member Hazel Williams (center) recently presented a book with her family history to the Obion County Public Library. “Shapard — A Family History” covers the Shapard (Sheppard) family from the 1600s to 2004. The Shapard Tower is part of the All Saints Chapel at the University of the South in Sewanee. Accepting the book on behalf of the library were William Dahnke and Sandra Bagwell. Ms. Bagwell is also a member of the Reelfoot Chapter, while Dahnke is a member of the Sons of the American Revolution.
