BOOK PRESENTATION — Reelfoot Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution recently presented the book “American Treasure: The Enduring Spirit of the DAR” to the Obion County Public Library in honor of Virginia Dahnke, who served as chaplain of the Reelfoot Chapter for 25 years. Reelfoot Chapter secretary Margaret Vaughan (seated) presented the book to William Dahnke, son of Mrs. Dahnke and an employee of the library. He is a member of the Sons of the American Revolution. Also present were (standing, from left) Reelfoot Chapter members Sandra Bagwell, who is also a library employee, and Hazel Williams and Mary Dunavant.
