HWOP meeting set

The kick-off meeting for this year’s Hometown Walk of Hope will be Jan. 31 at 6:30 p.m. at Health Quest on East Reelfoot Avenue in Union City.
Plans for this year’s walk will be discussed and a theme will be selected. There will also be an update on the work being done by the Obion County Cancer Agency.
Anyone interested in participating in the Walk of Hope 2008 is encouraged to attend, a spokesman said.
