Larue Ann Beam
Larue Ann Beam, 65, of Gleason, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2008, at McKenzie Regional Hospital in McKenzie.
Graveside services were held 2 p.m. Friday at Hopewell Cemetery, Gleason, with the Rev. Gene Price officiating. Gallimore Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Nicholas Anneson, Damion Beam and David Shirley served as pallbearers.
Mrs. Beam was born Sept. 26, 1942, in Apollo, Pa., daughter of the late Paul Curtis and Violet Wilson Burnett Shirey. She was a retired nurse and a member of Tumbling Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, John Leroy Fulton Beam Jr. of Gleason; two sons, Damion Beam of Gleason and David Shirley of Dundee, Ill.; four daughters, Gretchen Arneson of Gleason, Robin Ostram of Elgin, Ill., Amanda Shirey and Jennifer Shirey, both of Pennsylvania; one sister, Gladys Shellhammer of Murpheysboro, Ga.; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in the death by one son, John Beam.
