Jan Rose Dortch Adams, 68, of Dresden, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2008, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin.
Services were held 1 p.m. Thursday at Murphy Funeral Home, with the Rev. Don McCulley officiating. Burial was in East Side Cemetery.
Mrs. Adams was born Jan. 2, 1940, in Paducah, Ky., daughter of the late M. L. “Bill” and Bennie Elizabeth Regan Dortch. She was retired from the G.T.E. Telephone Co. in Elizabethtown, Ky., was a 1958 graduate of Martin High School and a member of First Baptist Church in Dresden.
Survivors include one son, Dennis Morgan (Gerri Ellen) Adams Jr., of Fort Smith, Ark.; one brother, Lee Dortch of Milan; and one granddaughter, Ryan Elizabeth Adams of Fort Smith, Ark.
