The Hunter Hynds Unit of United Methodist Women held it January meeting at Stanley’s Chapel with 12 members present. President Chris Cheatham called the meeting to order and led the reading of the purpose. Prayer requests were heard and followed by prayer by Becky Barnes.
Lucile Thompson read the minutes. Mrs. Cheatham announced a mission study about globalization, with Mrs. Tom Smith as leader, to be held at 9 a.m., Jan. 26, at Fulton First United Methodist Church.

The table of interest was attractive with pictures of small children and family members, three candles that were lit at key places during the program and a beautiful fresh arrangement of asparagus fern, foxtail fern and paper whites grown by Jared Barnes.
A special offering was made as Rosemary Coleman played “Jesus Loves Me.”
