Claudena Jeter, 92, of Trinley Park, Ill., died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008, at Westchester Health and Rehab.
Services were held 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Luke Baptist Church, with the Rev. Chris Johnson officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery in Greenfield. Williams Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Jeter was born Sept. 23, 1915, in Greenfield, daughter of the late Early Allen and Nannie Winston. She is the widow of Robert Jeter, worked as a cook for many years, and attended St. Luke Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Pete Jeter of Chicago, Ill.
