Mary Frances Hahn
Mary Frances (Brown) Hahn, 81, of West Frankfort, Ill., died Jan. 16, 2008, at 9:15 p.m. at Parkway Manor in Marion, Ill. She was a former resident of this area.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Second Baptist Church in West Frankfort, with Dr. Brett Beasley officiating. Burial will be in the Tower Heights Cemetery in West Frankfort.
Friends may call 4-6 p.m. Saturday at Parker-Reedy Funeral Home in West Frankfort and after 12:30 p.m. Sunday at the church.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the PBC Foundation. These will be accepted at the funeral home and church.
She was born Jan. 7, 1927, in Fulton, daughter of the late Hayden and Jessie Marie (Tibbs) Brown. She was married to Orrel F.G. “Jug” Hahn Jan. 18, 1947, in St. Louis. He preceded her in death May 19, 1997.
Mrs. Hahn was a long-time member of Second Baptist Church in West Frankfort and enjoyed working in her garden. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Jan Hahn of Blue Springs, Mo.; two daughters, Marilyn Arellano of West Frankfort and Abigail George of Glen Carbon, Ill.; three grandsons, Greg Hahn of Columbus, Miss., and Drew George and Kyle George, both of Glen Carbon; two granddaughters and the spouse of one, Kristin and James Tribble of Pleasant Hill, Mo., and Jessie Marie Talbott of West Frankfort; and two great-granddaughters, Taylor Tribble and Maggie Tribble, both of Pleasant Hill.
