United Way host workshops

wcp 1-17-08
The United Way of West Tennessee will be conducting its annually training sessions for any nonprofit organization interested in applying for funding for the fiscal year 2008-09. The sessions have been scheduled according to impact areas to enable the trainers to share more specific information and provide in-depth training tailored to each type of program.
United Way of West Tennessee is a local, volunteer-driven organization that helps local people in need. Through United Way, individual pledges and payroll deduction campaigns are combined to create a fund that supports health and human service programs serving the area. Local volunteers decide where funds are invested by carefully reviewing the applicant application.
Budget applications will only be available to those that attend at least one session.
