Phillip Wayne Jackson
Phillip Wayne Jackson, 66, of Dresden, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008, at his home.
Services were 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bowlin Funeral Home, with Bro. Kenneth Williams officiating. Burial was at New Hope Cemetery in Latham.
Zachary Jackson, Jerry Perry, David Ring, Brent Pate, Ray Griffith and Danny Little served as pallbearers.
Jackson was born in Martin, the son of Lee and Lucy Ketchum Jackson. He was a machinist for Oliver Machine and was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Violet Wienckowski Jackson of Dresden; a daughter, Cheryl Jackson of Dresden; two sons, Duane (Diane) Jackson and Steven (Joneice) Jackson, both of Dresden; five sisters, Susie (Doyle) Cooper of Dresden, Karon (Larry) Moubray of Palmersville, Brenda (James) McClure, Linda (Junior) McClure and Glenda (Lonnie) McClure, all of Wingo, Ky.; four brothers, James (Ramona) Jackson of Dresden, Robert (Shirley) Perry of Palmersville, Roger (Debra) Jackson of Wingo, Ky., and John Wayne (Kim) Jackson of Fulton, Ky.; one grandchild, Zachary Jackson; and three step grandchildren, Shelee Wiley, Desarae Wiley and Dominique Minga.
He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Willie Perry.
