MIRACLES TO SING — The Miracles, a choir of musically-gifted adults with intellectual disabilities, will perform at Cayce (Ky.) United Methodist Church Feb. 10 at 11 a.m. The choir is made up of 24 men and women who live at The Baddour Center, a community for adults with intellectual disabilities, located in Senatobia, Miss. The Miracles travel 15,000 miles and perform 40 concerts annually. Their mission is to praise God through music, bridge attitude barriers that may exist toward people with intellectual disabilities and share the mission of The Baddour Center. The Miracles have performed at venues across the country, including the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., while maintaining a full roster of performances at Mid-South churches. The Miracles’ repertoire includes many songs such as the well-known Christian music favorites, “Thank You,” “Written in Red” and “The Lord’s Prayer.” For more information about the Miracles’ performance or about The Baddour Center, call Karen Dunn at 1-888-4BADDOUR, ext. 1-231, or visit www.baddour.org.
