MLK celebration set January 20, 21

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Community Celebration will be held Sunday, January 20, at 3 p.m. at New Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 620 Gibson Road, Trenton. Reverend Norman Carver is the pastor.
The theme will be “What are you doing for others?” Also featured will be “Walk Through History” and The Voices of Women Community Choir
Monday, January 21, at 10 a.m., the theme will be “Is the struggle over or is it just beginning?” Also included will be a march and program, the voices of 70 youth and young adults, and old fashion gospel preaching at Spring Hill MB Church. Reverend David Willis is pastor.
Monday, January 21, at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 401 Gibson Road, Trenton, the theme will be “Celebrating the arts through MLK.” Also featured will be the young adults of Greater Gibson County. Reverend Darrick Theus is pastor.
