BRONZE EFFORT — Students at Unity Christian School in Martin who were recently named to their school’s Bronze Honor Roll for the 2007-08 school year’s second quarter included (from left, front row) pre-kindergarten students Sheev Patel, Ashlyn Bright, Amy Mitchell and Brady Adams, (middle row) third-grader Abby Eubank, fourth-grader Alex Martin, third-grader Nicolas Mitchell, (back row) fifth-graders Ashley Mitchell and Sierra Stone, seventh-grader Bryson Betz, fifth-grader Connor Betz and third-grader Kyle Baker. Not pictured are seventh-grader Mercee Eubank and sixth-grader Dinah Batchelor. Students named to Unity’s Bronze Honor Roll have averages of 90 or better with no C’s, D’s or F’s. The Christian school’s grading scale is different from public schools in that an A is from 95-100; a B is 88-94; a C is 78-87; a D is 70-77; and below 70 is an F.
