UC council to meet

Union City Council will meet this evening at 5:30 at the Municipal Building courtroom.
Items of the agenda include a resolution authorizing the submittal of an application to the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development for Tennessee Industrial Infrastructure Funds to construct a water tank in the Northwest Tennessee Regional Industrial Center; reviewing the minutes of the Dec. 20 Planning Commission meeting and the quarterly financial report of the City of Union City; and considering an offer from Jimmy E. Temple and Debra S. Temple to purchase a vacant lot located at 1604 North Clover St.
The meeting is open to the public.
