Completed arrangements are being announced for Naomi Lois (Owen) Ping, 91, of Union City, who died Jan. 12, 2008, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Rick Burton officiating. Burial will follow in Fremont Cemetery near Union City.
Friends may call at the funeral home 5-8 p.m. Thursday.
Grandsons and grandsons-in-law will serve as pallbearers.
She was born Nov. 26, 1916, in Obion County, daughter of the late Oliver Oscar and Audrey Brook (Dowell) Owen. She married Van Carmack Ping May 23, 1938. He died Feb. 4, 1994. She was a homemaker and a member of Woodland Mills First Baptist Church and the Crystal Family and Community Education Club.
Survivors include two daughters, Peggy Snell and Patricia Ping, both of Union City; three sons and daughters-in-law, Oliver and Joan Ping of Surprise, Ariz., John and Penny Ping of Farmington Hills, Mich., and Martin and Betty Ping of Glendale, Ariz.; and 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.
