Letter to WCP Editor
To the Editor,
As the new year begins, we would like to say a very special “Thank you” to several area people and organizations for all the hard work in our efforts to provide finds to We Care Ministries in Martin for the purpose of providing meat to less fortunate families in our area. With the help of these people and organizations, we are able to exceed our goal of $20,000 for the last year.
Tyson Foods and their cooking team, Bob Peeler and Nick Ford, MTD Products and the MTD cooking team, the Pilot Club of Dresden, West TN Automotive, the Greenfield Men’s Club, Martin Fire Department, for the use of cookers and equipment, WCMT radio, Weakley County Press, Dresden Enterprise, Martin Wal-Mart associates, Birdwell Processing and associates, Vincent Implements, M and G Meats, B & R Machine and Gear and associates, Henry Jackson, all of the fraternities and sororities at UTM for their donation at Greekfest, Phil Brandon Dairy and family, Wounded Eagle Dairy and a special thanks to all the churches and individuals who donated to our cause during our love offering Nov. 4, 2007.
On Feb. 1, there will be a We Care Hunters for the Hungry Appreciation Day at We Care Ministries in Martin at 9 a.m. Everyone is invited to attend. Again, we say “Thanks.”
