Cora Sue (Williams) Cherry, 67, of Union City died Jan. 12, 2008, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy, with the Rev. Judd Mowery officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery near Troy.
Friends may call at the funeral home 5-8 p.m. Tuesday.
Her nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Cherry was born Nov. 11, 1940, in Washington County, Ala., daughter of the late James Arthur “Bud” and Annie Louise (Courtney) Williams. She married Bobby Joe Cherry Jan. 14, 1961. He survives.
She was a member of Troy First United Methodist Church and was an avid tennis player.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Joe Cherry; two daughters and her son-in-law, Lisa Cherry and Penny and Peter Daigle, all of Atlanta; her son, Thomas Cherry of Union City; two grandchildren, Maddie Daigle and Jack Daigle, both of Atlanta; four sisters, Daphne Sullivan, Annie Mae Brown and Sarah June Strickland, all of Fruitdale, Ala., and Eula Robbins of Tacoma, Wash.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Rodney Williams and Monroe Williams.
