Lighting the way

LIGHTING THE WAY — Students in teacher Barbara Burnette’s fourth-grade classes at Carr Elementary School in Fulton — including Shuntara Beard (left) and Jasmine Aiken — recently conducted experiments on series and parallel circuits. The students had to construct a series circuit using two wires, a switch, a battery and a bulb. They enjoyed lighting up Christmas lights and making propellers spin.
