Sue Robison

Sue Robison, 96, of Finger died Jan. 3, 2008, at Chester County Healthcare in Henderson. She was the mother of Peggy Cox of Troy.
Services were held Sunday at Leon Johnson Funeral Home chapel in Henderson. Dr. B.J. Naylor officiated and burial followed in Finger Cemetery.
She was born in Chester County, daughter of the late George Washington Harrison and Martha Elizabeth (Ross) Hampton. She graduated from Bethel Springs High School and married Lawrence Winford Robison in 1935. He preceded her in death.
She had worked as a teacher’s aide at Bethel Springs School and was a member of Finger Church of Christ and the former Finger Home Demonstration Club.
In addition to her daughter, survivors include two additional daughters, RaNell Lay and Martha Patterson, both of Finger; three sons, Hal Robison of Finger, Ronnie Robison of Jackson and Ricky Robison of Toledo, Ill.; and 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Larry Robison and Jerry Robison; and two grandchildren.
