Mary Lillian True, 84, of Goodlettsville died Jan. 5, 2008, at Hendersonville Medical Center. She was a former resident of Obion County.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at McKenzie Funeral Home’s Cedar Avenue Chapel, with the Revs. Robert Prosser, Tony Janner and Ken Castleberry officiating. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery in Union City.
Friends may call at the funeral home 4-8 p.m. today and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the hour of services.
The family requests that memorials be made to McKenzie First Cumberland Presbyterian Church building fund, 16835 Highland Drive, McKenzie, TN 38201.
She was born June 22, 1923, in Troy, daughter of the late Fred Clarence and Susan Ethel (Griffin) Wilkerson. She was the widow of J.C. True and was the retired church secretary at McKenzie First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of the church and a former educator.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan Castleberry of Goodlettsville; her brother, H. Lloyd Wilkerson of Greensboro, N.C.; and three grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Pam Campbell.
