Donny Lewis Garner, 67, of Dresden, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin.
Services were held 2 p.m. Saturday at Bowlin Funeral Home, with Bro. Ricky Phillips officiating. Burial was in Sunset Cemetery in Dresden.
Phillip Vallee, Mike Swaim, Alan Hughey, Lynn Kelly, Jeff Capps and Jim Randolph served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were the elders of Martin Church of Christ.
Garner was a native of Weakley County, son of the late Fonzo Thomas and Leslie Eugene Insco Garner. He was a factory employee for Haldex Corp., an antique collector and a member of Martin Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Carol Webb Garner of Dresden; one daughter, Danta (Tommy) Erwin of Martin; one sister, Shirley (Tommy) Babb of Martin; two brothers, Earl Garner of Dresden and Gerald (Pat) Garner of Union City; and one grandchild, Payton Erwin of Martin.
