Betty Lou McKenzie
Betty Lou McKenzie, 82, of Springville, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Services were at 10 a.m. Saturday at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home in Big Sandy. Burial was at McRae Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. McKenzie was born Feb. 6, 1925, in West Lebanon, Ind., the daughter of the late Forrest and Irene Shaughnessy Owens. She was a retired machine operator.
Survivors include her husband, Wilton McKenzie; five daughters, Faye (Robert) Warren of McKenzie, Barbara Ward of Mansfield, Cheryl (J.R.) Tillman of Gleason, Diana (Rick) Jackson of Paris and Karen Layton of Indianapolis, Ind.; five sons, Richard (Mary Lou) Watson of Mansfield, James (Kathy) Watson of Dresden, Marvin (Betty) Watson, Ronnie Watson and Mike Watson, all of McKenzie; a sister, Doris (Rudy) Groff of West Lebanon, Ind.; a brother, Herman (Mary Jane) Owens of West Lebanon, Ind.; 30 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 46 great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Marvin Watson, one sister and three brothers.
