The Messenger congratulates Mr. and Mrs. Jason Baehler of Union City on the birth of a daughter, Ashton Briley Baehler, at 6:48 p.m. Dec. 20, 2007, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City. She weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long. She is the granddaughter of Bennie and Terry Russom of Union City, Larry and Betty Blasingim of Hickman, Ky., and Debra Bye of Fulton. She is the great-granddaughter of Bessie James of Moscow, Tenn., the late Dean Floyd of Fulton and the late Samuel A. and Ruby Baker and the late A.B. Russom, all of Union City. Her mother is the former Jessica Russom of Union City.
