The pride of UCMS
THE PRIDE OF UCMS — Several students at Union City Middle School were recently recognized as the Pride of UCMS for the second nine weeks. They were chosen by the faculty based on several criteria, also the five expectations for all students at UCMS. They include following the directions of all adults; showing kindness and being courteous and respectful to everyone; being prepared and on time; moving about quietly and orderly in the school and on campus; and dressing appropriately. The honorees included (from left, front row) sixth-graders Jackie Hudson, Alexis Ryan, Lauren Culver, Marley Speed and Justice Walker; (middle row) seventh-graders Aranda Tate, Savannah Blackwell, Diamond Dean, Maria Ochoa and Victoria Johnson; and (back row) eighth-graders Kaitlyn Wheeles, Nancy Sanchez, Laura Cruz, Julie Mathenia and Cameron Elam.
