Virginia T. Dudley
Virginia T. Dudley, 89, of Greenfield, died Dec. 21, 2007, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin.
Services were 2 p.m., Dec. 23, at the Greenfield United Methodist Church, with Richard Denton and Mike Jeffers officiating. Burial was in Highland Cemetery in Greenfield. Williams Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Joe Drewry, Michael Sharp, Chris Pence, Tony Drewry, Troy Jones, Greg Grooms and Barry Cash served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were members of the C-shift at Martin Fire Department.
Mrs. Dudley was born July 13, 1918, daughter of the late Ben W. and Nona Brummitt Travis. She was a homemaker and attended Greenfield United Methodist Church. She was the widow of William “Bill” Dudley.
Survivors include a son, Bob (RayAnn) Dudley of Greenfield; two daughters, Ann (Edmond) Stewart of Gleason and Billie Jean Mackin of Greenfield; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Benjamin Travis.
