First-grader comes to aid of grandmother

CLARKSVILLE (AP) — A 6-year-old Clarksville boy is being called a hero after he called for an ambulance after his grandmother passed out.
Juroy Faber was at home Wednesday with his grandmother, Sharyn Frasier, when she suddenly began spitting up blood and passed out on the floor.
He used the “chain of command,” an emergency telephone list that started with a call to 911 and then calls to his mother and aunts, who were out holiday shopping.
His mother, Jessie Frasier, said the first-grader was calm and even looked after his two younger siblings while he waited for help to arrive.
Sharyn Frasier was still at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital on Saturday. When contacted by The Associated Press, she said she’s “feeling better.”
