Dennis, Todd and Bro. Lowell led us singing “It Came Upon the Midnight Clear” and “Away in a Manger.” Tonight was prayer night, and we have so many on our prayer list. God knows them all. Let us pray in one accord.
Bro. Lowell preached from Romans 6:1-23.
Sunday morning, Myla and Bro. Lowell led us singing “The First Noel.” Danny read from Luke 1:46. After Sunday school the children, Bro. Lowell and Myla sang “Do You Know What I Know?” and “Jesus Paid It All.” It was very good. We all sang “Silent Night,” “It Came Upon a Midnight Clear” and “Come All Ye Faithful.”
Bro Lowell read the Christmas story. Christmas is about hope just as Jesus Christ is hope. He preached from 1 Kings 8:56 and Isaiah 9:6-7, Christ is our only hope.
My notes are behind because I’ve been out of going to church due to Mom’s health and mine. Doris Darby took my notes.
Merry Christmas to everyone. I pray we all remember the true meaning of Christmas. It’s about the Lord.
