Freeman Chapel By: By Elizabeth Blake wcp 12-27-07 We had several at church Sunday. Our service was a little different, a Christmas message in scripture and song. Members from the audience read scriptures then one verse from each Christmas song. Bro. Wayne made a short talk on “The Birth of Christ.” He also sang a solo, “What Child Is This?” It was also Communion day. We were glad to have Marty Freeman and children Tatum, Landon and Avery. They will visit Jimmy and Lois Freeman until Thursday. Woodrow Collier spoke at Central Union Sunday. My son, Douglas Blake, from Jackson, Miss., spent a few days with us. Always glad to have him home. Happy birthday to Landon Freeman. He is 7 years old. Woodrow Collier attended the wedding of his granddaughter, Natalie Schnee, in Inverness, Fla., the first weekend in December. Natalie is the daughter of Ron and Betty Schnee. Gina and Francisco Jaillier of Clarksville joined Howard and Shirley Ross of Gleason and Woodrow for the weekend celebration with family and friends. Woodrow gave the blessing at the ceremony and also enjoying dancing with family members at the reception. Thought of the week: What you do speaks so loudly I can’t hear what you say. None |
