Mary Frances Poore, 76, of Springfield, Mo., mother of Ricky Kelly of Union City and stepmother of Teresa Fry of Union City and Michael Poore of Kenton, died Dec. 21, 2007, at her home.
She was a former resident of Union City.
A private memorial service is planned in Goodland, Fla., at a later date.
The family requests that memorials be made to Goodland Baptist Church, P.O. Box 368, Goodland, FL 33933.
She was born March 20, 1931, in Union City, daughter of the late Marvin and Bernice Anderson. She married Thomas Cage Poore Jr. March 6, 1972. He survives.
She was a graduate of Union City High School and was the longtime owner of the former Anderson’s Beauty Shop and School in Union City. She had also been the organist of Goodland Baptist Church in Florida, where she was a member.
Survivors also include three other sons, Randy Kelly of Springfield, Mo., Ronnie Kelly of Nashville and Rusty Kelly of Lavergne; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
