Amedisys Home Health opens office

OFFICE OPENS — Amedisys Home Health recently celebrated the opening of its Union City location at 1100 Bishop St. with an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony, with the assistance of the Obion County Chamber of Commerce.

In correlation with National Home Care Month, Amedisys Home Health — with the help of the Obion County Chamber of Commerce — recently celebrated the opening of its Union City location with an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Amedisys Home Health, headquartered in Baton Rouge, La., operates in 31 states and Puerto Rico. The company provides in-home nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and behavioral health services for elderly homebound patients, as well as disease management programs ranging from Heart at Home to Partners in Wound Care.
The company has also recently launched the area’s only in-home behavioral health program.
The Union City office is staffed by local nurses and therapists with years of experience working with geriatric patients and works with all local medical providers to ensure the proper care is delivered to the patients served.
