Goldie Hutchins Goldie Marie Hutchins, 81, of Water Valley, Ky., died Dec. 19, 2007, at her home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton, with Dr. Jack Acree and the Rev. Jason Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. today and 8 a.m. until the funeral hour on Friday at the funeral home. She was born March 28, 1926, in Liberal, Kan., daughter of the late Bertha (Ainley) and David Lafette Baird. She was the widow of William Leonard “Bill” Hutchins. She was a member of the Crews Sunday school class at First Baptist Church in Fulton and a member of Senior Circle. She was a retired licensed practical nurse and had been co-owner of the former Parkway Manor Nursing Home in Fulton. She had also worked for the Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Mayfield, Ky., and had been a real estate agent with Century 21 in South Fulton. She had lived in Detroit and South Fulton most of her life. The family requests memorials be made to First Baptist Church, Building Fund, 115 Second St., Fulton, KY 42041. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Lana and Kenny Thurmond and Paula and Billy Vassar, all of South Fulton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Cissy Hutchins and David and Kim Hutchins, all of South Fulton; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and her sister, Pauline Martin of Kansas City, Mo.
