Potential students can get a good idea of what Bethel College is all about Saturday, Jan. 26, by attending the first preview day of 2008 at the school. Held on the McKenzie campus, the event will allow students to tour the campus and to meet with representatives from student life, financial aid, the academic dean’s office, IT and the chaplain’s office. Additionally, they’ll get the chance to interact with current Bethel College students.
“We encourage anyone who’s looking for a college home to call us and attend one of our preview days,” said Tina Hodges, enrollment director.
Hodges said there is no deadline to register. However, those who wish to attend are encouraged to contact Bethel’s Office of Admission either by phone at (731) 352-4030 or by e-mail at admissions@bethel-college.edu.
Check-in for the event will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Office of Admission in Campbell Hall Preview day will end at around 2 p.m., or participants can choose to stay and watch Bethel Wildcats basketball beginning at 2 p.m. in Baker Fieldhouse.
Another preview day will be held Friday, March 14. The Office of Admission is taking reservations for that date as well.
Bethel is a private, four-year liberal arts college founded by the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. It offers both bachelor’s and master’s degrees and has nationally ranked men’s and women’s athletics programs.
