CELEBRATING 100TH ANNIVERSARY — The Fortnightly Club of Martin held a tea Dec. 8 at the Methodist church to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the club. The room was beautifully decorated for Christmas, and tables held finger foods and punch for the guests that attended. Mayor Randy Brundige attended and presented the club with a proclamation commemorating the anniversary. Scrapbooks compiled by historian Carolyn Brown documenting the past 100 years were on display. Hostesses were Nancy Gallimore, Frances Cates and Judy Keene.
