Baby Fest Coming

Expectant and new parents are invited to BabyFest from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at Jackson Fairgrounds Park. BabyFest “Under the Big Top” is an expo about babies featuring exhibits, education, refreshments, games, contests and much more.
The Women and Children’s Center at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital and West Tennessee Parent and Family magazine sponsor the event. The Developmental Station, sponsored by Ayers Children’s Medical Center and Maggie Moo’s, will provide free developmental screenings for children ages 4 months to 3 years. Educational and retail booths include “Don’t Clown Around with Safety.”
The event will include the Daring Dad’s Diapering Contest and the Courageous Crawlers baby races. Back by popular demand is Petunia’s Pickles and Ice Cream sponsored by Turner Dairies.
