Art classes to be offered

Gibson County Visual Arts Association will be offering Beginning Adult Art classes, starting around the middle of January, at the GCVAA office, 120 Forest St., Trenton.
GCVAA artist members will teach the classes. Participants must be 18 years old or older. Each class will be two hours long, once weekly, for a period of six weeks. There must be six people to sign up for a class, and there will be a maximum of six people per class. Tuition is $85 for the six-week course ($10 discount to members). A deposit of $20 is required. Supplies will be kept to a minimum, and class members may either bring their own supplies, or the GCVAA will have them for sale.
Some of the offerings will be beginning drawing (no or limited prior experience); intermediate drawing (prerequisite is beginning drawing); beginning Photoshop essentials (prerequisite: must own Photoshop software); art history and museum tours (no prerequisite); beginning acrylic or oil (prerequisites); beginning pastel (prerequisites); and beginning watercolor (prerequisites).
