Celebration planned

Friends of Paris Landing State Park will sponsor a New Year’s Eve celebration featuring Rockin’ on the River Dec. 31 at Paris Landing State Park’s L. Don Ridgeway Conference Center.
Soul Shocker will present music of the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s for those 21 years of age and older. Tickets are on sale now at Paris-Henry County Chamber of Commerce at (731) 642-3431. Tables of eight sell for $500. Couple’s tickets are $125 and individual tickets are $75.
There will be a catered meal, cash bar, champagne toast, midnight countdown, party favors, festive decor and drawings. Special room rates for overnight guests at the Paris Landing State Park Inn are available by calling (731) 642-4311. There will also be a New Year’s Day brunch special.
