Waymon and Vanetta VanCleave

Waymon and Vanetta VanCleave of Martin recently celebrated their 35th anniversary at Patti’s in Grand Rivers, Ky. They were married Nov. 3, 1972, at Sidonia Baptist Church. He owned and operated VanCleave’s Welding Shop for 16 years and now farms and raises angus beef cattle. She has worked as a registered nurse for 22 years and is employed at Volunteer Home Care in Union City as a clinical supervisor. They have a daughter and son-in-law, Kelli and Scott Wisener of Rives; a son and daughter-in-law, Cory and Gina VanCleave of Martin; and four grandchildren. The couple was surprised by their children with a canvas oil painting of their wedding photograph.
