Completed arrangements are being announced for Nell Kathryn (King) Taylor, 76, of Fulton, who died 4:15 a.m. Dec. 10, 2007, at Parkway Regional Hospital in Fulton.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Seventh Day Adventist Church on Highway 45 East in South Fulton. Dawid Van Wyk will officiate and burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton 6-8 p.m. today and on Thursday until time to leave for the church.
She was born Jan. 8, 1931, in Obion County, daughter of the late J.D. and Mary Rose (Weaver) King. She was the widow of Robert W. Taylor and was a retired licensed practical nurse who had worked at the Obion County Health Department. She had lived in this area all her life and was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in South Fulton.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Janet and Bob Ambler of Fulton and Karen and Pat Jenks of Madison; her son and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Patti Taylor of South Fulton; six grandchildren, Dr. Susanna Leigh Quasam of Raleigh-Durham, N.C., Stephanie Carol Gerber of Louisville, Ky., Timothy Kent Ambler of Nashville, Kathryn Noelle Taylor Ambler of Fulton and Ali Rose Taylor and JoAnna Kathryn Taylor, both of South Fulton; her great-granddaughter, Caroline Gerber of Louisville; and her sister, Carol Edging of Wickliffe, Ky.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Billy Joe King.
