Miss Calhoun, Ogden to wed
The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Adrienne Nicole “Niki” Calhoun of Troy and Christopher Lance Ogden of Union City is being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Kay Calhoun of Troy and the late Tommy Calhoun. She is the granddaughter of the late Alton and Judson Pierce, the late James Calhoun and Margie Chessor, all of Union City.
She is a 2005 honors graduate of Obion County Central High School. She is attending the University of Tennessee at Martin, where she is majoring in criminal justice and sociology.
While at UTM, she has been on the Dean’s List and has received high honors every year while in college.
She is employed in the county mayor’s office in Union City.
The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Teddy Ogden of Union City. His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Ted Ogden and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hinson, all of Union City.
He is a 1998 graduate of OCCHS. He graduated in 2007 from the Newbern Technology Center, where he received a certificate in welding.
He is employed by Wal-Mart in Union City.
The couple will exchange vows at 2 p.m. Jan. 12 at the Moffatt Centre in Troy.
Only out-of-town invitations will be sent. All family and friends are invited.
