Katherine Meacham, 94, of Paducah, Ky., died 4:50 p.m. Dec. 10, 2007, at the home of her daughter, Kathy Ann Felts, of Paducah. She was a former resident of the Fulton-South Fulton area.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Greenlea Cemetery in Fulton, with Dr. Jack Acree officiating.
There will be no visitation. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.
Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton is in charge of arrangements.
She was born May 31, 1913, in Fulton, daughter of the late Charles Landon and Mayme (Brown) Cooke. She was the widow of James R. Meacham and was a longtime resident of this area. She was a Baptist and had been bookkeeper at the former Fulton Hospital.
Survivors also include her grandson and his wife, Gregory and Sheena Felts of Paducah; two step-grandchildren, Kristie Smith and Brent Felts, both of Benton, Ky.; her step-great-granddaughter, Hannah Lynn Smith of Benton; and her sister, Miriam Mitchell of Rochester, N.Y.
She was also preceded in death by her son, James Meacham Jr.; two brothers, Landon Cooke and Charles Cooke; and her sister, Elisabeth Burrow.
