Jean O’Rear The Messenger. 12.10.07 Completed arrangements are being announced for Jean O’Rear, 83, of Martin, a former resident of the Chestnut Glade community near South Fulton, who died Dec. 6, 2007, at VanAyer Manor Nursing Home in Martin. Services were 1 p.m. Sunday at Jackson Funeral Home in Dukedom, with burial following in Hickman City Cemetery. She was born June 18, 1924, in Hickman County, Ky., daughter of the late William Henry and Myrtie (Batts) Polsgrove. She was the widow of Clarence M. O’Rear, who died in 1994, and was a retired employee of the former Lear-Siegler in Union City. She was a member of Ruthville Baptist Church and had lived in this area most of her life. Survivors include two daughters, Beverly Foster of Dresden and Brenda Dublin of Martin; her son, Wayne O’Rear of Martin; and five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
