Nora D. Storey The Messenger. 12.06.07 Completed arrangements are being announced for Nora D. Storey, 87, of Troy, who died Dec. 4, 2007, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy, with Dr. Bobby Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 5-8 this evening. Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Wayne Storey, Lynn Storey, Denver Storey, Mason Storey, Lee Livingston and Rob Muse. Honorary pallbearers will be Wilkes Moore, Robert Storey, Fred Dickerson, Dale Green, R.C. Parrish and Norman Lee and her granddaughters, Anitra Muse and Jan Parker. The family requests that memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association, Green Hills Court, Suite B216, 4004 Hillsboro Road, Nashville, TN 37215. She was born Jan. 17, 1920, in Obion County, daughter of the late Montrue Pickney and Nora Florence (Roney) Barnes. She married Lewis David Storey Oct. 18, 1934. He died Aug. 12, 1993. They owned and operated the business they founded in 1958, Storey Sawmill in Troy. She was a member of Troy First Baptist Church and was a past matron of Troy Order of Eastern Star. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Fern and Jesse Livingston of Troy; her son and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Helen Storey of Troy; three grandsons, Lynn Storey of Corinth, Texas, and Wayne Storey and Lee Livingston, both of Troy; two granddaughters, Jan Parker of Union City and Anitra Muse of Troy; and 13 great-grandchildren.
