Lewis Aden Biggs, 92, of Dresden, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2007, at Weakley County Rehab and Nursing Center in Dresden.
Services were at 11 a.m. Friday at Bowlin Funeral Home, with Elder Wayne Tidwell officiating. Burial was at Palmersville Cemetery in Palmersville.
Daniel Dunn, Roger Dunn, Michael Dunn, Joe Pritchard, Shawn Stallings and David Brann served as pallbearers.
Biggs was born in Palmersville, the son of the late Homer and Lola Lewis Biggs. He was a retired farmer and a member of Palmersville Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Nellie Ruth Brann Biggs of Dresden; three daughters, Kara L. Dunn of Union City, Marie Nicholas of Nashville and Anita Pagan of Phoenix, Ariz.; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson and two step-great-great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Mercile Davis; and two brothers, Pauleve Biggs and Marvin Biggs.
