Jerry Eldon Partin wcp 11-27-07 Jerry Eldon Partin, 44, of Sharon, died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson. Services were at 1 p.m. Wednesday at River of Life Church of God in Dresden, with Bro. Sam Swanson officiating. Burial was at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Sidonia. Bowlin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Homer Jones, Jody Smith, Jason Little, Steven Hobock, Clay Tate, Carl Tate, David Tate, Bobby Hopkins Jr., Donald Tipton, Johnny Warren, Matthew Scherfel and Terry Scherfel served as pallbearers. Partin was born in Chicago, Ill., the son of Shirley Hunter Partin of Chicago and the late Cecil Partin. He was a mechanic and a member of River of Life Church of God. Survivors also include his wife, Rebekah Jones Partin of Sharon; three daughters, Kimberly Foley and Tonya Partin, both of Martin, and Rayne Partin of Sharon; two sons, Jerry L. Partin of Beloit, Wis., and Robert H. Partin of Georgia; two sisters, Debra Cagle of Ridgely and Donna Turner of Chicago; three brothers, Eugene Partin and Rickey Partin, both of Chicago, and Cecil Partin Jr. of Fulton, Mo.; and 14 grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a grandchild, Nicholas Partin. None |
