Lucille Burtchett, 90, of Rives died Nov. 16, 2007, at Golden Living Center in Union City.
Services were 2 p.m. Sunday at Dilday Funeral Home in Union City, with Bobby Stewart officiating. Burial followed in Cobb’s Chapel Cemetery near the Shawtown community.
Pallbearers were Danny Ransom, David Ransom, Timothy Ransom. T.J. Basham and James D. Hutchison.
She was born March 10, 1917, in Obion County, daughter of the late Luther Daniel and Nora (Worley) Robinson. She was the widow of A.W. “Buck” Burtchett. They were married in 1975. He died Jan. 5, 1978.
She had been employed at the former Salant & Salant and was a member of Rives Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons and her daughter-in-law, Luther and Pat Ransom of Shawtown and Hurley Ray Ransom of Woodland Mills; and eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by seven brothers and four sisters.
