Pageant to benefit Santa’s Village A “Have A Heart” beauty pageant and canned good food drive to help needy families during the holidays will be held Dec. 1 at the William Nanney Senior Citizens Building in Woodland Mills. The contestant who brings the most canned good items to the pageant will be named the pageant sweetheart and will receive an array of prizes. Food items will be donated to Santa’s Village in Martin. Categories for girls birth to age 21 and boys from birth to age 4 are available. Winners of the pageant, sponsor winners and the pageant sweetheart will be introduced at the opening ceremony of Santa’s Village. Contestants who register by Nov. 24 and bring 20 canned goods to the pageant will receive a crown and all contestants will receive a trophy and a gift.
