Margaret (Overton) Smith, 91, of Kenton died Nov. 12, 2007, at The Meadows Nursing Home.
Graveside services will be noon Saturday at Sunnyside Cemetery in Kenton.
Leitherland Funeral Home in Rutherford is in charge of arrangements.
There will be no visitation.
The family requests that memorials be made to the church or charity of the donor’s choice.
She was born June 2, 1916, daughter of the late John and Lizzie (Wells) Overton. She was the widow of Jimmy Smith and was a member of Kenton Church of Christ. She had been employed as a secretary at Milan Arsenal.
Survivors include two nieces and their husbands, Ruth and Gynnath Ford and Martha and Bill Thetford, all of Nashville.
She was also preceded in death by her twin sister and brother-in-law, Marjorie and Leroy Richardson; and her brother, Robert Overton.
