Novella C. King, 89, of Greenfield, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2007, at Martin Health Care in Martin.
Services were held 11 a.m. Monday at Williams Funeral Home, with Dr. Roy Whaley officiating. Burial was in Highland Cemetery, Greenfield.
Jimmy Cochran, Nancey Small, Bill Cochran, Anthony Cochran and Dan Elam served as pallbearers.
Mrs. King was born June 10, 1918, in Greenfield, daughter of the late Henry T. and Maude Currin Cochran. She was the widow of Frank D. King, worked as a hairdresser and as a baker at Lansing School District. She was a Presbyterian.
Survivors include two sons, Keith (Sandra) King of Lansing, Mich., and Paul King of Greenfield; and one grandson, Scott King of Orange County, Calif.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Robert Frank King.
Memorials may be made to the Greenfield Senior Citizens Center.
